The Local Doctor provides comprehensive general-practice services across its Ivanhoe and Diamond Creek clinics, including family medicine, urgent care, women's and men's health, skin cancer checks, immunisations, onsite pathology collection, WorkCover/TAC care, employment medicals, travel medicine, health assessments, minor procedures and iron infusions.

- What services does The Local Doctor offer?
- The Local Doctor provides full-scope general practice across its Ivanhoe and Diamond Creek clinics, including family medicine, urgent care for injuries and lacerations, women's and men's health, skin cancer checks and treatment, immunisations, health assessments and minor procedures. Onsite pathology collection, WorkCover and TAC care, pre-employment medicals, travel advice and vaccines, and iron infusions are also available.
- Do you have onsite pathology, and what are the collection hours?
- Yes, pathology collection is available onsite at both clinics. At Diamond Creek it runs Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm, and at Ivanhoe it is available Wednesday 9am to 12pm.
- What women's health services are available?
- Women's health services include cervical screening, contraception advice, pregnancy planning, gynaecological clinical care, menopause care, and Implanon insertion and removal. Pregnancy shared care and IUD insertion and removal are available at the Diamond Creek clinic only.
- Do you handle WorkCover, TAC, and employment medicals?
- Yes, The Local Doctor provides WorkCover and TAC care as well as pre-employment medicals at both clinics.
- Can I get travel vaccines and immunisations here?
- Yes, both clinics offer immunisations, along with travel advice and vaccines.
- How do I book an appointment?
- You can book online using the Book buttons on this website, or by phoning reception on (03) 8373 4646. Both clinics, Ivanhoe and Diamond Creek, can be booked this way.
