How billing works
—We are a private billing practice. Fees are payable in full at the time of your appointment.
—EFTPOS only — we do not accept cash.
—Your Medicare rebate is processed on the spot, or paid to your bank within 48 hours.
—GAP is your out-of-pocket cost after the Medicare rebate. Without a valid Medicare card the full private fee applies.

Please note
- —Please note that certain procedures attract Medicare rebates only once the result from the lab is known (i.e. 1–2 weeks after the procedure). This cost is in addition to the GAP you have paid — but you then get all of this Medicare rebate back from Medicare. To save our patients uncertainty and waiting, there is sometimes a rebate fee that must be paid once results arrive. You will get all this money back from Medicare, and we apologise that Medicare rules in some circumstances force us to bill in this way instead of bulk billing the item (which is easier for everyone!). We thank you for your patience and understanding — if you have any questions please ask our helpful staff or managers.
- —Cosmetics prices (filler, anti-wrinkle, laser) are available on request — please ask reception.
- —Patients without a valid Medicare card pay the full private fee. WorkCover claims incur out-of-pocket (GAP) fees.
