I am not feeling well, can I still have my consultation from home, or do I have to come and sit in my car?

Whilst we always believe it is best to see your doctor face to face, your wellbeing is most important. If you are not feeling well enough to visit the clinic for your telehealth consultation, you can still chat to your doctor via the link sent to you.

If you are particularly unwell and feel at risk of serious illness, please call 000 immediately.

Do you offer COVID-19 testing?

If you are concerned that you have coronavirus, please make an appointment with one of our doctors. If necessary they will organise the appropriate testing.

How much does a consultation cost?

All consultations continue to incur a fee of $49.95. We are also doing our best to offer those who are experiencing hardship financial support, wherever we can. Please let us know if your employment has been compromised directly due to the COVID 19 outbreak.

Are you still doing skin cancer checks and procedures

We are still providing full skin checks for those patients with previous melanoma or other serious skin cancers. If anyone is concerned about particular spots on the skin we will still review those spots. We will continue to treat skin cancers. Please contact reception for more information on how your skin cancer check is conducted on site.

How do you conduct your flu shots?

FLu shot appointments also begin via a telehealth consultation. Providing you are well enough and are symptom free of COVID-19, you will be asked to take a seat out the front of the clinic. PLEASE MAINTAIN SAFE SOCIAL DISTANCING, TO ALLOW US TO CONTINUE TO OFFER THIS SERVICE. There are green lines to stand behind. Please make sure you are at least 1.5m from anyone else.

What is the best way to stay safe during the outbreak?

The best way to stay safe is to stay home and wash your hands before you eat, after you use the toilet, after you touch anything outside of your home, i.e. the supermarket, doctor’s clinic etc. The cleaner your hands are, the safer you will be.

It is wise not to expose yourself to anyone you do not live with, at a distance closer than a 1.5m.

Get regular exercise and take care of your mental health too. We are always here to listen.

Wear a mask if you can, and dispose of it after its use. Because the virus can be spread via droplets from sneezing or coughing, a mask may be useful when engaging in any essential activity outside of the home.
